Hong Kong Chamber Music Society

The HKCMS was formed in 1975 as a non-profit organization for people who enjoy solo and chamber music recitals in relaxed, elegant surroundings.

Previous events have been held at such venues as:
The Hong Kong Club, The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, The Pacific Club (Kowloon),
The American Club and Government House.

Overseas ensembles who have performed for HKCMS include:
Wiener Mozart Trio, Zurich String Trio, Amati String Quartet, Coolidge String Quartet, Malaysian Piano Trio and the Concordia Ensemble.

Overseas artists who have performed for HKCMS include:
Thomas Bloch, Gleb Dontsov, Mei-Yi Foo, Simon Mulligan, James Brawn, Gustavo Romero, Ieuan Jones, Yuri Kalnits, Philip Smith, Gillian Humphreys, Alain Daboncourt, Alastair Thompson, Kristian Chong, Artem Konstantinov, Wendy Law, Agnieszka Marucha and Rafal Zambrzycki-Payne.

Hong Kong-based musicians and ensembles who have performed for HKCMS include:
Rachel Cheung, James Cuddeford, Wong Wai-Yin, Amy Sze, Leanne Manning, Leanne Nicholls, Barry Wilde, Andrew Simon, Richard Bamping, Mary Wu, Carol Yu, Warren Lee, Margaret Lynn, Megan Sterling, Evelyn Chang, Euna Kim, Colleen Lee,Tomoko Tanaka-Mao and the Anonymous Quartet.
